I thought this was a cute coat until I learned the double breasted buttons are for decoration only. The coat closes by snaps! I can't imagine wearing this. A619587

Snaps ruin it. It's not very upscale. I watched the video. The snaps looked like they were pulling on the model. For that price, it should be real double breasted buttons.

It would be a god send for the right individual - think someone elderly who just doesn't have the manual dexterity for buttons anymore or someone with say Parkinsons or MS.  Until you told me there were snaps I had no idea so it wouldn't bother me.

Small snaps on thick fabric can also be difficult to close. They saved the cost of maybe 10" of fabric plus sewing button holes.

What a wonderful idea for folks with dexterity issues.  Please don't assume everyone is able bodied with full use of their hands. Just be thankful you do.  Thanks for posting @Houstonoilers

I've noticed dry cleaners are starting to close with all the washable fabrics on the market.

Double breasted tops, coats, jackets get no place in my wardrobe no matter whether they are real or fake.

Double breasted is a little too much fabric for me unless it's a rain coat.
