I like the idea of iron-on or sew-on paisley appliques. As I recall, years ago, I tried to find a few larger appliques (at a decent price), but wasn't successful. Maybe I'll try again. Thanks for all of these DIY's.

'Wait'......We could use floral fabric and place it (sew it or fabric glue it) underneath the torn 'holes' in jeans. I recall someone here mentioning that tip, only she used patches underneath. ........... We can also make our own 'appliques' by cutting shapes out of thick floral fabric and using that iron on backing to place our floral shapes on top of our jeans without torn holes. Was it called 'Stitch Witchery' or something similar? Edited: Or use fabric glue, which Martha Stewart used to use a lot. Was it Fabric-tec or something similar?
