Denim & Co.

I was so interested in the Denim & Co. boot cut leggings that Leah showed on AM Style this morning. I have many Denim & Co. pieces and have NEVER been disapointed with the quality whatsoever. However as I always do I did read some reviews. There were so many negative comments about this item, that I decided not to order them. They do seem to be just what I am looking for. I know I have the option to return, but tis returning is costing me the price of a few items on my wish list. Can anyone who is familiar with this legging give me a personal review? I am 5'2". I was interested in the medium denim wash. I read one of the issues were that the appearance of the legging changed with the fabric/color.
