I like their active line. I'm not active but I like comfort. I no longer have an interested in heels or tight clothing but as Bob Mackie says, "you can be comfortable and look good". Just depends on which bottom and top you pick. Try not to pick sloppy.

Carolyn also says everything makes her look skinny.... HUH? Am I missing something here? Or Carolyn says it makes your tushy look smaller..... Why does everything have to make you look skinny or smaller? Who is this customer? I think this customer lives in denial like Carolyn.
Well I sure have never heard anyone say "I think I'll buy this because it makes me look bigger!!! Like/believe it or not, if something has a slimming look, women will buy it. It definitely is a huge selling point. I know for me if I buy something and when I try it on , it makes me look large, I'm not going to buy it or wear it!! There may be some who just put things on with no thought or care about how it looks but the vast majority of women do look in the mirror and notice how they look to themselves. It's not living in denial but just wanting to look the best you can. I have gained some menopausal weight since I was younger but I still work out and want to look my best. I certainly wouldn't just throw on a short tight top and jeans that go way up over my waist or way below my waist and be happy with the look. I dress to not emphasize the extra weight which does present a slimmer appearance. I know what styles will showcase the extra weight and what won't. I still have the added weight and don't try to pretend that I don't but now look and feel better!!

You must already realize that most women in the US are consumed with looking thin. It's unfortunate that more are not satisfied with their bodies, but it just isn't so. You can thank magazines and photo cropping for some of the blame.

I'm sorry, I'm not a fan of leggings at all, don't think they make a larger woman look slim and am surprised at the push of leggings again. I'm also surprised at the push of sloppy styles. Leggings keep coming in and out but the huge sloppy tops don't look (IMHO) as nice as a more tailored tunic.
I really love a more tailored look.... and that's just my humble opinion...

nothing shown on today's show made anyone look slimmer or trimmer or 10 pounds down as Gary stated so proudly.

I think we get the point that the OP doesn't like Denim & Co, Gary, or Carolyn. So why watch and then come on here to complain?
I think all the clothing lines on QVC, as well as anywhere else, have good things and bad things...some look very nice, and "slimming" (oh horrors, that something would be advertised as slimming), and some look oversized and frumpy. I happen to be average size, but I have slim hips and thighs and carry more weight in my middle. I've found many things from Denim & Co that emphasize my good points and camouflage the bad ones - they look very nice on my body type and are cute and up-to-date. I've also found some from Susan Graver, Liz Claiborne, Isaac. But there are other pieces in all those lines that I wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole for me! That said, some people are looking for oversized, comfy things...they're just not for me.
So I don't agree when people lump an entire line of clothing as sloppy, shapeless, cheap, or frumpy and matronly. They ALL are very varied in their styles, and if you take the time to pay attention, I think most people can find something that they like and that looks good on them. JMHO

On 9/8/2014 gazelle77 said: What is up with all the sloppy coverup styles lately? Is this Gary's idea of a well dressed woman? Especially those yoga pants they are pushing. you can get those at Costco... CHEAP! Enough all ready with the casual easy throw on as Gary puts it so nicely. It is just sloppy and shapeless dressing to cover up your body. How about some fashion with style and class?
Having class has nothing to do with clothes. It has to do with attitude and how one relates to people. As for style, clothes don't make the women, the women makes the clothes.
