Denim & Co corduroy pants

I ordered the new corduroy pants from denim & Co- love the navy color, the fit, and the fabric. Buttt the nap goes up instead of down anyone else have them and if so does the nap go up or down your legs ?

So when you brush your hand from your thigh on down, does the nap lay down or stand up?  It should lay down smooth.  If it was cut the other way, I think I would return them.
