I saw several denim jackets I would love to own and some pretty color combinations.

There's a nod to the 1970's and 1980's.  Of course things come back around, don't they!

I liked the Celine raincoat, that was about it. I really dislike the double denim look and the patchwork jeans. I do not like the look of puddle pants.

I feared one model was going to lose her pants.

Well that was interesting!  Not much of it appealed to me as shown, but we have to remember that the runway is always extremes.  What filters down to ready to wear is more watered down and thus wearable by us regular folks.

Of the trends shown, I like the dark denim and the white denim.  I was hoping that low waist was gone for a while - seems like we just started to see higher waist jeans.  Not happy to see low waists reappearing so soon. Oh well.

@ECBG

Thanks for that!

I enjoyed the video. For a minute there - I wanted to check my closet.  Some of them were wearing my pants!!

What I like:

  • Loose fit and baggy .... have a bunch in various shades of denim.  Last year, I got great deals at the end of the season ....wide leg / baggy.  I washed them several times to remove the sizing - they "flow" really well now.

  • Double denim .... I have jackets in all the same washes/colors as the pants. Some of the jackets date back to the 90s .... patchwork, "bejeweled" and appliques.

  • White denim ... Two white jackets (diff.styles) and about about six pairs of white jeans.

  • Patchwork ... I have a few pairs of ready-made patchwork ... and a stack of patches that bought (Amazon) to use on the jeans that are two sizes too big now.  Rather than donate, I'm going to decorate!

Forget the denim.  Once this Valentino coat appeared on one of the models, that's all she wrote for me!  Heart  Gorgeous!

Not impressed.  Most of those items would look ridiculous on me.  I don't like double denim, hip huggers (did that when I was much younger & thinner decades ago) or baggy sloppy looking jeans.
