Dansko vs Clarks - help please!

I am beginning an internship next week and I need to find shoes that I can stand and walk approximately 2 miles/day in. I am barely recovering from my second episode of plantar fasciitis and I am so nervous about it flaring up again. I have a few pairs of Clarks, which I love. I've also heard good thing about Dansko from people who work in health care. Anyone with experience with these two brands and can point me in a direction?
