Go to the Louis Vuitton forum. There is a HUGE amount of info there as to where to send your LV bag for repairs no matter the age or the repair. The people on this forum know their stuff and if someone is recommended (especially in the FAQ's or Repair section), then you KNOW they are trustworthy.

 

As for the cost...for a bag I love and is the perfect fit for me, I will pay the cost to keep it going for a long, long time (I have and love LV's). Good luck with whatever you choose to do. : )

Contact them directly, send a pic, they will tell you the best way to fix it or maybe they will do it for you.
