Re: Dakota's "spine and rib cage" dress...

I think it's gorgeous, and she really rocked it!

I had a very similar dress in the early 90's.  It was navy, double-breasted and no cut-out chains in the back.  Same mini length.  In fact, it was a popular style at that time.  You can google them I'm sure.

All fashion comes around & around, just tweaked a bit.

Dakota really pulls this dress off!  The back is beautiful!

Was that Judy Garland in that little video?  If so, I love that!  She looked so good!!

@AngelPuppy1  -  That is Judy Garland.  I added it to the post.   Agree - Dakota looks fab.  Of course, so does Judy Garland.

@ECBG   I love it, too. If I were taller, I'd wear a jacket/dress. I've seen this style on other celebrities, as well. Celine Dion wore a jacket style dress backwards. Lol

@gertrudecloset  - I had no idea she was wearing a wig.  Looks pretty darn good.  I never would have thought so.

I like the front of the dress and I like the back of the dress.

I’m just not sure if I like them in the same dress.

Also don’t like the purse with the dress - it’s as if she deliberately chose the opposite (and maybe she did!)

Nevertheless, she looks great and, per usual. wears her clothes well.

I've never cared for the suit jacket dress look.  I do think the back is pretty but I still don't care for the overall dress.

She's a beautiful woman, but with so many options from so many designers, that wouldn't be my choice. Its a look that sort of (strangely) looks a bit dated to my eyes. I really like her....She could do better, IMHO.
