DO YOU HAVE TO RETURN ITEMS? IF SO, WHY? - Page 4

I return quite a few clothing items because of issues with fit. I ALWAYS check the "click here" measurements because even within the same clothing line I can be different sizes. I look at it like this: When you go to an actual store and take several items into the dressing room, do you buy ALL of the items? Well, I don't. There's always something that doesn't fit right or just doesn't look right. So if I buy 20 items from the Q and send back 5 in a span of time, I think that's about what I would expect.

All my returns are clothing and I return a fair amount why? Sizing!! Forget those size charts, they only give you an idea. Susan Graver will say semi-fit, chest 38 so get a M. I get the Medium (which is my size) and it is huge, humogous!! Same with all other brands. I now, unfortunately, spend a fortune on returns because if I see something I really love,I buy both a M and a S. The last Attitudes by Rene (the long jacket with the matching shell) also Huge. The sizing chart showed a M would be perfect, no way, it was swimming on me. I have never been a size S in anything in my life but I find that on the Q I am buying more and more Smalls. Also, the color appears different on TV than in person. I bought the sweater that Isaac had on a couple of weeks ago in green and it was a gorgeous sweater (kept the black one). On Sandra it was a deep, rich kelly green but in person it was a very dull, lighter shade of green so back it went.

I rarely return anything ordered from anywhere. Occasionally I need to exchange for a different size & once in a blue moon the item just does not work for me or is defectve. If I have any doubts about something I usually just don't order in the first place.

Been shopping with QVC since day one. Returned NOTHING for the first 26 years. In the past year or so, I've had to return numerous clothing items for fit -- mostly too small (almost all SG items which is really unusual because her clothing always ran a little large). And I just recently returned a holiday item -- came with Santa standing on his head! Oh, and a pair of Isaac's 24/7 ankle pants (recent TSV). Right leg was 2 inches shorter than the left --not a good look. ${#emotions_dlg.scared}$ Waiting for my exchange on those.
