I had purchased stinky DG2 jeans many years ago and if I remember correctly after a couple of washes the smell came out.

Rinse in vinegar.  I have purchase several pair in prior years.  About the fit, they fit perfect when first purchased but wear thin after washing several times.  My inner seam then frayed and pulled from the seams.  I haven't purchased since. I wrote a note to Sam & he refused to comment.
