Cyndi Lauper has a clothing and shoe collection which debuts on HSN. The Racked website has an article about her and why she wants to design clothes and shoes for women her own age. The shoes in the article look kind of fun. It will be interesting to see how well her line does.

I wonder if it will be like most celebrity lines; they bring them in, and within a year, the line has disappeared (like the Melissa McCarthy brand).

The items can be viewed on HSN. Not sure where one would wear those shoes. They are a little odd to me. As far as the other clothing? Meh I'm not sure what's different about it.

Probably back in the day I would have worn them but now it's not for me. I'm retired and into comfort shoes and clothing. I can see my 38 yr old daughter wearing some of her line. Good luck Cyndi.

The last time I saw her recently on a pharmaceutical commercial on TV selling some kind of drug for psoriasis, she was sporting bright pink hair.... I really doubt I have much in common with her sense of style. She has always been a bit "OFF" and looks like she still is....

Another washed up rock star starting a clothing line, YAWN.........I did like her "girls just want to have fun" song though. She is a charachter. Then there's Cheryl Crowe who also has a clothing line, it goes on and on doesn't it?
