I crocheted my masks with 100% Cotton yarn. I found the pattern on Pinterest. They are 100% cotton, washable/dryable. For filters we use coffee filters. A new one is used each time we leave the house. They are not hot, no more than the paper ones. Very comfortable. Hope this helps with all the questions. My mask is the pink one pictured below. They cover from above the nose to below the chin. Fit exactly like the paper ones. Do not slip off the nose area either. I measured around the ears before crocheting the part that goes around the ears to be sure it fits nice.

The other day - chatting* with a neighbor in the laundry room ... she asked if I had crocheted any face masks.  I had not - but that gave me an idea!

I dug up a crochet pattern online - went through my yarn stash.  I've crocheted three - just need to line them.  Plan on making lots more.  The crochet takes me about an hour each - another 1/2 hour to line - then wash/block and wait for them to dry.

They look really great - when done, I'll post some pics.

Just my luck - I'll have a bunch of masks finished and they'll tell us we don't have to wear them anymore!

Sorry about your potentially wasted efforts, but if that happened it would be a good thing now wouldn't it...? Smiley Happy

I fixed it.  The original pic was too large to upload ... but showed on my PC.

This is the striped one that turned out looking like The Joker ... I know someone who will love it  -  my neighbor's teenage son.
