There has to be some sort of a varnish or finish on the leaves or they will crumble the second they are touched

I was ready to bet a 24 pack of TP (hahaha) that she did this on fresh leaves, then let them dry, but apparently she does it on dry leaves!  I can't imagine how she does it...maybe she coats the dry leaf in olive oil or vasoline or something.

 

Whatever, it is indeed beautiful art.
