I love Cate Blanchett as an actress and for the fact that she takes risks with her fashion style. But these sleeves just look silly to me. They're definitely a risk though so kudos for that. Suit other than that does look beautiful to me.

I agree with everything you said re: Cate, but had to LOL when I saw these sleeves!

But hey, she apparently liked it to wear it and that's what counts.

The suit is lovely otherwise, but the sleeves are just goofy.

Cate Blanchett is one of the best actresses but this outfit isn't one of her best looks. The sleeves ruin the entire look.  It is her taste but definitely a big NO for me.

I find those sleeves way too much...and the contrasting color from the suit only accents the appearance.  Not for me!  The overall appearance takes attention away from her beautiful face!
