Crazy Christmas in July Purchase

UPS just brought my new aubergine shell, and another package I'd forgotten about! A210818 velvet tunic in forest green, and the matching velvet pants A210828. Both pieces are gorgeous, and as I already knew from the measurements and the reviews, I know I'll be bringing in both pieces to be shortened. (Both the sleeves and the bottom of the tunic as well as the pants) I refuse to shop here after the 1st of October (until maybe March or so) anymore, was burned by too many holiday-ish shipping mistakes etc., don't like the hype, etc etc so thought I'd get a nice Christmas party outfit now. I'm on waitlist for the black velvet pants, there's several sizes on waitlist!?! The tunic is so pretty, thinking I want to go back for the black one, but trying to talk myself out of it! Anyone have this outfit?
