I made a valid point about LDO and his garments, sneak peeks, his advice on how to size and now I am sure I will get my head handed to me by his followers. Fight for whatever you want. His long time fans who claim to buy hundreds and hundreds of his garments whenever he is on pretty much know how things fit. When you buy RL in stores, you pretty much buy the same size regardless of whether the material is summer weight or winter weighty sweaters. His tees are all fitted and follow the lines of the body. There certainly are no click here measurements in store bought garments and yes I know you can return them without paying shipping, but you still have the aggravation of driving back to the store and wasting time and gas.

You make valid points and I do think it's a GOOD thing to raise questions--that's what the forums are all about. The irony is that for those of us who are saying no measurements=no sale, the Milano jacket/cardigan that queued up this controversy actually sold out! (I even ordered 3 in my usual Linea size). Of course, we'll wait and see how many jackets bounce back to QVC, which is a negative for customers & designer alike, but that can happen even with "click here" measurements posted. But, it could be this is much ado about nothing.
The risk of bombarding corporate with calls/complaints on behalf of Linea, specifically, is that it could negatively impact Louis & Linea. We have no clue what the politics are behind-the-scenes and in our fervor to get "click here" measurements, we could be shooting Louis, Linea and ourselves in the foot. IMHO.

I just received another phone call from Corporate-- and the person I spoke with said that in addition to the toll free # to contact C/S to find missing click here measurements can contact via e mail this e mail address: QVCSocialTeam@QVC.com. This person said that someone is there all the time and will answer back via e mail with the measurements of a garment; this person went on to say that the social team is working on this problem.
I sent an e mail to the social team and highlighted in red ink the garments from the Linea line that need top priority in getting those click here measurements in place since they are relatively new to the line (within the past 6 months).

thank you GRACEco. Finally, someone gets what I am trying to say. Since Louis' line seems so fragile at QVC as it is, the old squeaky wheel gets the grease might be more of a thorn than a rose. that's all.
ETA: I email the social team all the time, but not about the items, about the forums when they randomly delete posts that were not controversial or against any standards. I didn't think their role was for help in the products, especially since the social team is not really QVC employees but rather part of the forum that Q "rents out" as it were.

I always order size small in Linea, so I ordered 3 of the Milano sweater jackets. I thought I'd make good use of them, and I know my size small always sells out. They are still processing, so I hope they ship out okay.

I had a message on my answering machine when I got home last night from someone at QVC -- they advised that they are looking into the "click here" measurement issue and if I had any more questions I should address them to the "social team" e-mail address.
While I appreciate the call and that they are "looking into it", if I'm shopping for an item being presented on TV and the information I need to figure out the fit isn't there for me, e-mailing someone for the information probably won't help at that moment. More than likely that means I won't buy. Good for my savings account though!

I hope they're doing something about it, but the answer I got last night to my email yesterday, makes me wonder. After I got this email, I called CS, and all she said was "I'm sure they're working to fix 'whatever your problem is' to make shopping at QVC a better experience for you." Really??? This is the email response from the Social Team and what I posted on a couple of other threads. (ETA: I sent this as a complaint in general about LC, D&Co, etc., not about Linea)
I just received this answer to the email I sent today. I'm sorry, but if they can't even use proper grammar, let alone the fact that this person has no idea what we're talking about, I think we're in trouble. I replied and told them exactly what I thought about this answer, in a very nice way, of course.

LOL, kittymom, well that response is totally clueless. Yeah the same old size chart that assumes we don't need the garment measurements.

I for one, am glad to see the "click here" measurements are re-appearing, so thanks to JJM, HL, BK, and all of us who sent in requests, asked questions, and called corporate or cs, it appears to have worked. Now if we could just get more basic sizing info during presentations...aw well, guess I shouldn't ask for too much.

Still trying to have them enter the click here measurements for the swing WK sweater.
