I wonder how it goes with A as far as clothing sales... they don't have to handle returns, do they? Customer service there can be like getting stuck in a maze.
Not to defend the Q failing to post click here measurements... but what good do the click here measurements do if the actual manufacturer's quality control is so bad that measurements are way off anyway?
It seems to me that everything I order these days comes in varying sizes within one size... no matter which site I order from.Is this going to be the trend of purchasing online?
If the garment you receive is not the same measurements as the click here measurement, then you would have a reason to ask that your S&H not be charged, right? Also, you just have a better chance of getting the correct size that a total shot in the dark.

What if there were no video and the color you received was different than what's shown photographed onsite? I wonder if that falls under the QVC "oops, our fault" parameters?

Please remember that items that are new and if they are missing the click here measurements online are available 24 hours prior presentation from C/S. You may have to insist they look for the items either by number or by show or vendor.

birkin baby, that is a good point. I still think that the hosts should be giving correct sizing information during the presentations, even if the click here measurements ARE available, I may want to just call and order instead.
I sat and watched a presentation of IM's new ponte pants before I went to sleep last night. Ordinarily I might have called and ordered but I wasn't going to get up and check the computer for sizing and didn't have faith that the sizing would be correct on these. I'll wait for the reviews and see how it all worked out and see if I still want to order them.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean but I once ordered a handbag that was supposed to be red suede. I had looked at it on-line and it was hard to tell by the swatch. And all monitors and even tvs show colors differently.
The bag arrived and it was orange. Not even orangey red. It was ORANGE. I sent it back but I called first and told them about the bag being described as red. They refused to pay for the return s/h and said they couldn't be held responsible for color discrepencies and that to someone else, that bag might be red.

I briefly mentioned some of the problems on the website.
During the interval before the show began, I took note of all the Linea items missing 'click here' individual garment measurements. The Linea Body items (tights, stockings whatever you call them) have the LDO sizing underneath the sizing tab on those items.
The following are missing individual garment measurements:
A218144 the sweater with the removable cowl'
A239314 a high necked dress
A239319 drapeneck tunic
A239320 boucle cardigan
A239321 wide waist leggings
A259620 WK swing sweater
A262072 Linea Leisure Petite pants
A263783 The Milano stitch/ottoman zip up sweater (New Today-2-9-15)
to be fair, all those are clearance/last clicks items that more than likely have already been purchased by his regular customers. If someone is looking to scarf one up at that price, I am sure CS could give measurements. The new item, the sweater, is missing the measurements but again Louis communicates very well with his regulars and I can almost be most of you know what size to take. He did say it fits regular B&M, not the vanity sizing so if you know you take a M in say RL, get the M in this one. These are not numeric siIng ao it's not like wondering if you should get an 8, 10 or 12.
I doubt anyone wants to take the time to check every designer's items on QVC and look at all the new, clearance and last clicks prices on each garment because lines like SG, IM, and such have hundreds more than Linea but if someone really wanted to take that much time to do it, I'll bet some of those older items might be missing click here as well.
And besides Linea fans have another advantage other customers don't. Louis shows you ahead of time and tells you the details of each piece, like how it fits, compares it to other brands (he compared this to St John) and so forth.
All I'm saying is that Linea fans often think he is getting the short end at QVC and complain all the way to the top. You just never know in today's world how corporate people think. He is not a top seller in terms of numbers sold and someone, someday may just say he's not worth it with all the aggravation.
Why not just be grateful that someone is willing to take the time to ensure that QVC gives its customers, including you, the information they need if they buy clothing here?
This isn't about Linea per se--many have observed that there are no measurements listed for lots of garments. This is info we need to get the right size and avoid returns.
why be defensive anytime someone asks a question or poses a thought that is interpreted as different from the masses?
And it most certainly is about Linea. These complaints about click here measurements are not in other forums that I've seen. Why, you yourself, brought in other designers items that DO have click here measurements. Why would you do that if not save for the fact that QVC is shortchanging Louis and his customers. Wasn't that your point?
This thread was on page 2 of the Fashion Talk forum here & page 3 has another thread about garment sizing being missing lately.
IMO and it is my opinion, if you are dissatisfied with something from any vendor either here or elsewhere, you would contact the company, correct? Most companies want to address their customers' concerns either with a phone call or e mail or both.
No individual garment measurements -- no sale for me.
yes, but didn't you already post the garment measurements in another thread started before this one? So I'm reading all these ladies saying they are not going to purchase but the measurements were already given on the boards.
I'm not trying to be a PITA, but there are multiple complaints and calls to Corporate about the click here measurements. I'll bet shoppers like me who don't buy much at all never even knew they were there. After I looked at them, I wouldn't even know their relevance as I am not a seamstress. I couldn't tell you in a million years what my armhole size in. And how many ladies buy garments online from places like Nordstrom's, Do they give detailed garment measurements online?
I think the real issue is that I have read many ladies buy two of each in different sizes and return the one that doesn't fit. Since they got refunds on their original shipping, it was easy peasy. Now no refund so the uproar. My question is, since you had click here measurements to go by at that time, then why did people buy 2 different sizes? Wouldn't you have been able to buy the perfect fit looking at the chart?

Yes, I did post some measurements to that Milano stitch sweater on another thread here. The complaint is that the measurements should not be 'hidden' on a community forum like this but on the actual page the garment is located!
Remember the C in QVC stood for convenience? Its not convenient when a person has to (1) contact C/S to give measurements over the phone for various garments and (2) when a person has to juggle through a website to find them somewhere.
I'll repeat myself-- no garment measurements on the webpage of the garment- means no sale!!

A new Thread just started this morning on the Fashion Talk Forun - on this same Topic!

Hopefully TPTB will resolve this matter soon.
