Re: Corporate Called re: click here measurements

There is one of two things happening here:

1. The Q has made a policy decision to eliminate the Click Here measuements (despite what MR. Upper Upper Upper said to Happy Lady---he may be insulated and not be "in the know' yet.

OR

2. Someone sidestepped the normal process & procedures for entering the new item information in the computer, it could be a mistake or intentional by the person/team/supervisor charged with doing the job.

If this is #2, then we should see it corrected both going forward and in fixing the missing information.

If it is #1, then, unless we raise a Holy Stink (which we are very good at), we ALL have a big problem on our hands--both Louis and the Linea Ladies, as if sales go down, we all know where that could lead---AGAIN!

So, let's keep on this until the Q gets it RIGHT!

Wow! I'm impressed that Happy Lady actually got to speak to someone in the ivory tower! They were always unavailable to take my calls and nobody called back.

I was actually shocked that I got a call! Just as Louis came on and the models came out in the new ottoman cardigan; I almost didn't answer the phone. The c/s rep I talked to this morning obviously knows people in high places. She's the one who sent something in to somebody; she asked if I would be available for a call between 1 and 4 PM. Oh, yes I will be...Surprise.

I also spoke with corporate today and left a V/M. Someone called me back when I was out errand running and will contact me tomorrow in the early PM to talk with me.

I'm sufficiently cynical to think that if someone truly were a member of "upper, upper" management, he wouldn't characterize himself that way. Simply giving his name and job title would have been appropriate.

Re: Corporate Called re: click here measurements

I think about five years ago they tried getting rid of the click here garment measurements and we did raise a holy stink about it. They gave them back, too. They're crazy if they think that is going to be a sales incentive to leave them off.

Re: Corporate Called re: click here measurements

In clothing, for sometime now I only buy Linea. I still want to see the "click here" measurements before I buy. Also, have you noticed how many items (on various shows) have prices that are only good for the day they are shown? That practice was not as prevalent as it is now.

He did give his name, his title etc.;very appropriate. I am the one who is using the term upper, upper management to convey the level of authority I was speaking to. He did not characterize himself that way. I certainly am not going to give out his name or title on this forum. That was my way of moving my phone call information along to the forum. I was getting qualifications on his ability to discuss this issue and hopefully get this mess resolved and not waste my time or his. How many times do you ask for a supervisor and someone gets on the phone and after you go through all the issues they say they are not qualified to resolve this issue. Ergo: upper, upper management.

Re: Corporate Called re: click here measurements

If this is such an issue...why not just take your business elsewhere? If you cannot order correct sizing why order then. I would think that once sales fell off..they would get the idea that something is going on..and maybe try and resolve it.

Clothes shopping online should not be a hassle and if it is..then time to take the shopping to a retail outlet that has their act together.

From reading the various threads/boards here none of the in house vendors seem to be on the same page. I don't want to hear excuses of Q's buyers...this and that..when the line has THEIR name on it..bottom line ...falls on them.

Years ago I remember watching Signature Club A on HSN..and Adrienne..went to Italy and other factories..well that is what needs to be done with the vendors ..they need to go to where the clothing is made..and step up to plate and make sure quality is there..consistency is there.

I think the Vendor own a big part of the responsibility on the mess.

In a word---wrong! Louis has no control whatsoever over the Q's shipping or on-line ordering system and what gets loaded into the system and when---he does not even get to say what they name it or what color they call it. He has zero responsibility for the things he has no control over. He can only complain like we do. He has no access whatsoever to the Q process, procedures or policies.
