I haven't heard a reference to Madison Avenue or "the Hamptons" in what seems like years.

I lived in LA for a couple of years ... didn't care for the "vibes" there!

It's getting hard to sort out all the b'in and moanin'.

Seriously, I can't imagine posting that I don't like the "vibes" of a particular region. What exactly is the point?

Not a complaint at all .... simply an observation that QVC has changed its focus.  

LA cool has replaced Madison Avenue / Hamptons chic at QVC.

Yes , I agree.  Didn't really notice but now that you mention it.  Maybe it is trendier with the younger shopper.

Although this time of year everyone is out at the pumpkin patch or going apple picking.

As a diehard NYer, California culture and pace are not for me for more than a month at a time, but, having been up and down the entire state a few times, I'll say that it's absolutely beautiful along the coast. The beaches, cliffs, towns -- love.

And, through the magic of television and QVC you can wear your cool LA vibe jeans to pick apples off a tree and pumpkns off the ground  in various places around the country  .... or simply pick the apples and pumpkins up at the supermarket.
