Confused about pricing on the "lunchtime" specials....

I'm so cunfused about the pricing of the lunchtime specials. It shows something for say $9.70 (not exact price but and example). I click on it and it is saying $39.00. I even clicked on different sizes and colors and it still was the higher price. Can someone explain to me the reason for this? I was going to order a couple things, until I notced the higher price. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Did you try to order past the cutoff time?

lunchtime specials only run until 4pm et.

if you checked out the item after that time, the pricing goes back up again.
