Lisa is curvy. I just generally don't like what she's wearing and I think she wears her clothes too tight.
I don't particularly find very thin women attractive. That's my particular opinion though...
I, too, don't like many of Lisa's choices. She oftentimes plays up those curves to the point where she actually looks heavier than she is.
And enough with the short cropped leather jackets with the hard edges. I think something a little softer would be a flattering look for her.

I know, right! Let's pin an eating disorder on her now.

I recently heard a surgeon say he had lost a patient after having minor surgery. In spite of the fact that the surgery itself was successful, she was "too thin" to heal. and he added a young woman. I had heard that negative things can happen to the body because it doesn't get the calories it needs but this was a new one to me. I then thought about elderly ladies in my neighborhood who had such operations as hip replacements, etc. and the ones who were particularly thin either had a harder time or died during the healing process.

Sorry, I've been her size most of my life and I can out eat any 6 foot plus man ! Doctor says it's my thyroid and metabolism, will always be that way. I have an older brother who has tried all of his adult life to gain weight. He's normal height, barely weighs 136 soaking wet. Eats, eats and eats.
Some of us are just her size normally, and we are very healthy. I just finished a very thorough physical. My lab work was excellent for my age.
It infuriates my brother and I when people thing we are "trying" to be thin.

Hi MAGIC and ITA w/ you! --I don't like the short, cropped jackets Lisa wears either. Plus, they are always too tight and make her look bigger than she is. And, she's not big. She's not super thin, but she's certainly not heavy. The choices she makes are usually not flattering unless she's at those shows in Italy. I normally love the dresses she has on for those gold shows.

I was surprised when I signed in this morning to still see this thread here........everyone is so concerned with poor skinny Jen. I think it's time to be just as concerned about the obviously fat (yes I'll use the word FAT...no more offensive than SKINNY) hosts and vendors......they're going to drop dead of a heart attack, become diabetic, have high blood pressure, have high cholesterol, and end up with joint problems. Now watch this thread finally (and hopefully) get poofed. Double-standard in action!!! I'm outta here.
OK....vent over, but I still don't understand WHY it's ok to talk about a thin person this way and not someone who is obviously overweight........I don't think it's right to comment on either......that's my point.

It is her business but when one puts themselves in the public eye, people will talk about it.
That is true. Rachel Zoe looks like a stick as does Guiliana Rancic. Bobbi Ray Carter looks scary thin.

How can people be so insensitive to thin people, but OMG, it's off limits to talk this way about people who are overweight!
I want to educate some of you.....
From a young age and until I was in my early 30's I was skinny as a rail, and it was no fun! I did everything I could to gain an ounce, including taking appetite enhancers from my doctor, but could not gain weight. I weighed 116 pounds when I got pregnant with my son, and when he was 6 months old, I was down to 110. I looked like Bobbie Ray Carter! I don't know if it's my small frame or what, but no one believes what I weigh now, and if I dropped 40 pounds, I would look like Bobbie Ray Carter again!
I finally managed to start gaining weight in my 30's, and then I had to be put on a low cholesterol diet in my 40's, so for 15 months I stuck to low fat everything...and went back down to 119. That may sound fine to some of you, but believe me, I was skinny! I remember one day at the water fountain at work, our company attorney walked by and said "Are you still losing weight? You're getting skinny!" I can't tell you how badly it hurt my feelings. Thin people can be just as self-conscious about their weight as those who are overweight -- see? I don't even want to use the "fat" word! It's a real double standard, and those on here who talk about thin people not being very attractive, would probably never say "I don't find FAT people very attractive"! It's hard to find clothes that fit, and you never feel like you look good enough. Thin may be "in" but not according to most of the people on this thread! It's hurtful to talk the way you do -- I just hope you don't say it to people's faces thinking that it's okay - they're just thin...
Rachel Zoe looks like a stick as does Guiliana Rancic. Bobbi Ray Carter looks scary thin. People who are too thin..even if it's someone posting on this board, can be very hurt by these kinds of words. So some of you, I hope, will think before you speak next time!
