I love this cute summer pant on sale!
I'm a 1X ( 16/18) . I would never wear my pants this tight. I always wear a pant differently than jeans. I like them looser in the hip and leg.
My question is:
SHOULD I consider buying this pant in a plus size? Would this pant in your opinion look good worn properly or would it make any size woman look even bigger?
I have family and friends I could ask but I doubt if I bought and wore them and asked this question that they would give me a true opinion. They wouldn't want to hurt my feelings.
I'm not an insecure person but some things should not be worn on every body type.
Thank you 💖

I would never wear plaid pants---I don't want to inspire laughter.

This pant is a hard no for me. It is not an item I would consider at all.

I resonated with your statement that some things shouldn't be worn by some people--even if they can. In other words, just because you can doesn't mean you should. Not you, specifically, but you as in general. There is a YouTuber I follow who is my age (60) and has a great body with firm legs. For her fashion hauls, she will almost invariably have on some kind of a shorter dress that looks like a 30-year-old should wear it. She looks good in it, but it doesn't look age-appropriate if you know what I mean. The other day, she had on a midi sheath dress, and she looked the epitome of elegance. The shorter dresses make her look like she's trying to look young.
So where I'm going with this, is that I think this look is likely a no for you. Just because you can get it in your size, doesn't mean you should, no matter how much you like it. Another option would be to decide for yourself. Order it, and if you have doubts, you can return it.

the first thing I noticed about those pants---the plaid doesn't match on the side seams--that right there would be a deal breaker for me--and then , the plaid is way too big for anyone that is ample on the bottom--looks awful.

JMO @Midmod I don't think those light plaid pants would be flattering on any size women. I think you answered your own question. If you decide to purchase, I hope it works out well for you.

I like the colors in the plaid but not the scale or the mismatched pattern/placement.
