I don't care for the colorblocking, but I love the shiny fabric. In fact I recently purchased a black Michael Kors shiny coat. I think a down coat looks dressier with a shine like this (same concept as patent leather).

 

Unfortunately while I loved the fabric I wasn't sure i loved the style and ended up returning it.
