The longer I watch, the crazier the prices seem to get!  I just can't believe this is their debut show!  Normally, when any new line debuts is when prices are by far the best.  Now, a shirt or sweater is $82 on sale for today only!

This line won't last no time at this rate!

Other than Flexabelle jeans I buy no clothes on QVC. I have also cured myself from my handbag obsession.  I live a simple life but this morning I decided to treat myself to a soft print. (can't stand garish loud prints:

I have never shopped the Coldwater Creek catalog, so was interested to see what it was all about.  Sticker shock for me!

In defense of the prices, the shirt they showed in white on the model had very nice detail.  Check the seams and collar construction.  It was also a nice thick fabric and the show thru from her black pants was minimal.  Think it was $70 and looked it.

Re: Coldwater Creek Show - March 4, 2024

When I was working 90% of my clothing was Coldwater Creek, because they carried petite sizing.

Their clothing has always been on the pricey side.  I paid between $90 and $119 for skirts, of which I had many.  This was quite a while ago because I retired 14 years ago.

I always liked their clothing, but since I am retired, I don't need that type of clothing anymore. I donated 33 large garbage bags of work clothing when I retired.  I hope someone got to enjoy it.

I used to be a big Coldwater Creeek shopper. But once they closed and went to catalog only, their prices skyrocketed.

@deeva - ITA! At one time I was a regular at their stores. There sizes were perfect for me. Every time there was a new catalog I would drive to the store to look at the items in person. DH always enjoyed going with me and we usually had the children too, until DD got old enough to babysit! Our store had a waterfall next to leather seats and a table with sports and car magazines!

I always had a coupon that brought the prices down, and I liked that you could order from the catalog at the store and get free home delivery.

I also got gifts there. We had a table runner made out of river stones that lasted a long time. It was made in Idaho. And I still have a bracelet DS "bought" for me when he was about 6 or so.

I also frequented the outlet in Delaware. I was crushed when they closed. I should have seen it coming, as the longtime manager left to go with another store. It was a few months before they closed down.

After the original owner left I wasn't interested. I have never looked at the catalog since.

And I found I like the fashion items here!  Smiley Happy

It will be like Lands End and J. Jill. QVC priced the lines too high. You can get better deals from buying directly
