Dropped them a note last night and I got a message this morning that had refunded my money

I used to occasionally buy from Coldwater Creek.  A short time back I ordered a dress and told it was on back order, and I would receive it in a month.  I liked the dress enough to wait.

The arrival time came and went - no dress.  When I called, I was told my dress was "on hold" for another two months.  I was never notified and informed them I was no longer i interested in the dress, nor in doing business with them.

Good to know!  I had looked at a pretty sweater but thought it was very over priced!

You all kept me from either buying it or bothering to see if it went on sale.  I don't need difficult retailers.  No point in it.

That happened with me  buying toys through company Young Explorers . Somehow I was signed up for somekind of loyalty program that charged  twenty some dollars a month. I called my credit card company to figure out what the charge was and they told me Young Explorers . I called the comapny and they reimbursed me 6 months of payments to them .I canceled the service and have not ordered one new item from them

Interesting.  I had gotten a Young Explorers subscription for my nephew when he was about 8.  I didn't know they sold anything other than subscriptions.

That Coldwater Creek loyalty program is a joke.  I signed up for it too not realizing there was a monthly charge.  Once I found out they were charging me, I canceled it and they reimbursed me my charges without asking.  I hope they do the same with you.

A charge to be in a loyalty program?  Shouldn't you be reaping rewards for purchasing. Never heard of such a thing.

Talbots has a loyalty program and there is no fee.
