Re: Cold Ladies- Need a Robe?

Too bulky for me, looks like an outerwear coat.

Re: Cold Ladies- Need a Robe?

While it can get cold here in Northern Virginia, I can't remember a winter in the 40+ years that we've lived here that got cold enough to require this robe. However, if I lived in the northern states, this might be exactly what I'd need. If I needed this robe, I'd also want matching booties for my tootsies.

Re: Cold Ladies- Need a Robe?

Fortunately, my apartment has steam - no robes needed.

Re: Cold Ladies- Need a Robe?

I have one just like the first one. It was a Christmas gift from my family many years ago. I think it came from L.L. Bean. So cozy and warm, but I don't wear it to fix breakfast during the holidays!  Smiley Wink

Re: Cold Ladies- Need a Robe?

I'm still waiting for an easy care chenille robe, maybe with hood.

In some sort of polyester that looks like chenille, but not as heavy.  Maybe tufted chenille-like.

Love The Nanny's Nanny Fine's chenille robes, with large tufted flowers.

Anyway, getting back to this thread, yes, I love this hooded robe.  Especially during cold Winter days and nights.  Perfect!

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Cold Ladies- Need a Robe?

I was gifted a similar robe but without the hood from The Company Store.  Mine is down filled.  A bit bulky, but can't get any warmer than this robe.

Re: Cold Ladies- Need a Robe?

Fortunately I moved from an all electric house with a heat pump to an apartment with a gas furnace. I no longer have to freeze. I don't know why my house was always so cold  and my bills were outrageous.
