I am hoping you ladies have some suggestions where to shop for clothes for a tall, very thin young woman. My daughter is almost 5'8" and weighs a lttle under 120 pounds. She is 27 years old.
We have tried stores a little more geared to juniors such as Maurice's and The Buckle. Even their extra small leggings and jeggings don't fit her, just as an example. They are extremely baggy and saggy and just hang on her.
Petites won't work because she is too tall. I remember when I was in high school there were some specialty shops for the younger generation that carried sizes 00, 0, and 1. but I don't know if they exist anymore and can't remember what they were called. Google searches lead me to petites.
Can anyone help me with suggestions of where she can shop? Shopping is extremely frustrating for her and she comes home empty-handed.
ETA Brick and mortar stores are preferable to online and she is looking for all types of clothing.

My dgd is 16 and models. she is 5'9 and 115# and wears a 0 or 00. She has found that lululemon works well for her and also Brandi Melville. Which is on line. For fancy Clothes, she likes lulus, another on line store.
good luck

I get the catalog "Soft Surroundings" and their clothing looks like it would be good for tall and thin young women.

I googled "clothing for tall and thin women" and there's quite a bit of good information. Have you tried that? Not sure if they are B&M or on line offerings, but at least you'll know she's not alone! I was tall and "skinny"as many loved to point out to me. Fortunately, my mom made most of my clothes. BTW, "skinny" is one of the kinder names I was called while growing up. People can be very cruel.

I second the lululemon idea. It is the hot fashion label for the younger crowd.

Thank you for your suggestions @On It @Krimpette @DottieBlue @sydsgma1 ! I will certainly pass them along to her. I know she would prefer to shop in a brick and mortar store to try the clothes on, but I understand she may have to resort resort to online. She needs jeans, dress pants, really everything.
I was painfully thin growing up too, so know the struggles 🙂

Are you wanting casual, cute items?
Classic tradirtionals that are beautiful?
Talbots carries tall and starts at size 2. They also have some "skinny" pants that she could cet a closer fit with.
Anthropologie has very fashion forward pretty items that look nice and most of their brands don't come from manufacturing you would be embarrased to support because they don't pay a living wage.
I buy all of my DILove's clothing and am called the city's stylist. Happy to help any way I can.

Thanks @ECBG ! She's 27, married with a new baby. I would say she likes clothes a little more trendy over conservative. She has a pretty casual (as far as dress) accounting job. She needs to wear something other than just leggings, but not too dressy, the same as in her personal life. So, I guess that's my long winded way of saying yes to the casual and cute items 😅.
She thinks Talbots is a little too "old" for her, based on her on her reaction when I go there. I appreciate any suggestions!

Nordstrom. Put tall women in search and you will get many pages.

Talbots has been trying to attract a younger crowd. Good to know what she is doing. The sweaters, slacks, and blazers and those items are high quality and last for years as she does the "basic" part of her wardrobe.
I wouldn't push H&M and Zara, they are part of the "fast fashion" that isn't paying a living wage. They do a lot of inexpensive polyester that doesn't feel good.
Then I would add some current pieces like moto jackets to be worn indoors (year around weight), and those items which are on Anthro right now. They will exchange items without recharging you for shipping.
Another wonderful resource is Nordstroms with free SH.
Have her look at what I wear on Outfit Of The Day and see if what I wear is similar to what she needs. I tell where everything came from.
