Closet switch ..... FINISHED!

So glad that's finished.   Now, all I have to do is get the rest of the donation bags over to Goodwill this week.

I guess my wardrobe is 1/3 warm weather, 1/3 cold weather and 1/3 transitional (spring/fall).

Surprised that I found four pairs of pants in the back of the closet that I had forgotten about.  I think I'm at the point of "no more pants" after my next QVC order arrives.

It's 90 here today, and has been for several days.  Can't even think of fall clothes yet.  Maybe in another month or so.

Took out all the Fall and Winter clothes and packed away all the summer clothes.

And - since I lost some weight - got rid of a bunch of pants and a few tops that no longer fit.  And - also got rid of some thngs that I just didn't want anymore.

I'm a bit compulsive ... I have to have all this stuff done by Labor Day - no matter what the weather or the forecast.

Now that it's done - I can relax ......

Glad I don't have to do that in Arizona. The only thing I do is go from shorts and tees to longer pants and long sleeves tees.

Congrats on getting the "switch" accomplished. I'm sure it feels good.

I remember the days of lugging things up and down the stairs from bedroom to basement. What a workout! Everything I own for all seasons is in one closet and 2 dressers now so I don't have to do the major switch out anymore.

It's still warm here, but I will rearrange my closet a bit for cold weather at the end of September. I move summer items to the far ends of the closet rod away from the door and move colder weather items closer to the front. I also move summer shoes to the back of the closet floor and pull the boxes of cold weather shoes forward. My dresser drawers are already organized by season so there's nothing to do there.

Congrats @ALRATIBA .  I haven't started my move yet.  Very hot and humid here.  Need to do some major purging so am not looking forward to starting on it this year.

OH!  I am SO jealous!  My basement steps are killer, and with the sciatic nerve issue, this dreaded task happens over several days.

I know you will enjoy the peace and satisfaction from having this chore over!Smiley Happy
