Re: Closet switch ..... FINISHED!

@ECBG

All my "action" takes place in the bedroom ... stuff spread out all over, sliding off the bed, tripping over hangers, digging into closets and boxes.

But - good exercise getting up and down, reaching, weight lifting bags and boxes, stepping over stuff I dropped all the whlie trying not fall.

Basically - a good whole body workout with short spurts of sitting on the bed panting and sipping flavored ice water.

I'm "veggng out" this afternoon.  I had planned to go to the grocery store - but that has to wait for another day.  I'll eat leftovers.

OH!  I am SO jealous!  My basement steps are killer, and with the sciatic nerve issue, this dreaded task happens over several days.

I know you will enjoy the peace and satisfaction from having this chore over!Smiley Happy

I so dread doing this, it just hurts my head to think about it and I put it off some more.

I would love to have your arrangement, yet, my love is antiques!

After a Victorian drop center dresser, and my grandmother's crystal vanity (4 large drawers, two small)

everything defaulted to large zipper cases in the basement years ago, now labled plastic tubs labeled like drawers.

You can see the dresser in the back corner.

The small picture is the architect's painting of the house my grandmother built about 10 years before I was born.

Re: Closet switch ..... FINISHED!

Wow, that's great to have that done.
Everything I have is in one walk-in closet and dresser drawers, with the exception of coats/jackets (they are in the coat closet by the door), so I don't need to do a change-over, thank goodness. It's still extremely hot and humid here and will be for another month, probably, so it would be too soon for me anyway.

Thank you for the lovely complement.  In 1980, I designed the house around my antique collection.  We had been doing without until we found the perfect antique piece.  No way was I going to "buy everything twice"!!!  Lol!!!Smiley Happy
