If I didn't want something to begin with, no clearance price interests me. That's where I am with LOGO. Just can't imagine it on my body - even though I'm well aware that thousands of women buy it.
When I do have an interest, I look at the clearnace price only in comparison to the original price - yes, it has to be less expensive, but no, I don't expect to get it for peanuts. Almost always by the time I see items reduced too much, I have found too often, there's really good reason. Maybe the fabric is poor or the style doesn't fit lots of us women or the color is strange and hard to co-ordinate wiith the rest of my wardrobe.
One of my January projects is to rid my closets and drawers of clothes I will no longer wear - way too many are still things I bought on sale/clearance - and I almost fell for something yesterday just because the price was good. I was so happy when I came home without it - and my 40-some dollars even though I love the brand.
