QVC apparently now puts items on "clearance" which means they dont honor price adj.  I just recd 2 Isaac Mizrahi skirts YESTERDAY that today were marked down to clearance.  I contacted CS for a price adj...they did honor it as a one time exception (thnak you CS) but told me that anything on clearance moving forward is not eligible for price adj.  Another new policy in place that wil lose even more customers for QVC.    And the clearance price was $6 less so not exactly any "bargain" price but in the past QVC would honor price adj within 30 days....now if they call it clearance they wont.

DebNYC31... I received many items today, and while looking on line, my items were reduced as well.  Yes in the past they would honor the reduction. Already reduced before even receiving.  Very disappointed to hear that labeling them "clearance" now, legally means no more reductions (even before receiving).  This is absurd and yes will only exaserbate customer loyalty.

this has been happening for quite a few months now.....unfortunately.

many of us have gotten the same responses from the qvc social team.

you were lucky to get a one time adjustment. some of us havent been as lucky. depending on how deep the discount is, it is sometimes beneficial to send the items you ordered back and purchase again at the lower price.

there have been many threads on this subject.

i do miss their 30 day price guarantee.

@DebNYC31 - Consider yourself very lucky that you got any kind of adjustment.

They now will not do a price adjustment if an item is reduced as "clearance", "clearance sale price", "final sale", "lunchtime special", "primetime special", "one time only".  The list goes on and basically means nothing qualifies.

Apparently, the only thing that may qualify for a price adjustment is "sale price".  Those exact words.  (But I wouldn't count on it.)  It's beyond ridiculous and it's extremely poor customer service.

This has been discussed for weeks (months?) now with so many posters saying they were denied price adjustments.  (Myself included!)

I have been told that samething.  You were lucky to get the one time courtesy as I wasn't that lucky.

@Venezia. I've gotten several adjustments on items marked "Sale Price" with no problem.

I had a D&C top that had a "drop in price."  It was not on clearance.  QVC wouldn't give me the price adjustment.

Well, that stinks, but I'm not surprised anymore. A bit tired of the Q's pricing games.

I tried to use a $10 off QVC coupon on a new jacket that was priced over $80. But, the jacket was marked down a few bucks at an introductory "Sale price" so I couldn't use the coupon. I didn't order. I realize it's only $10, but there's such a markup in clothing I'm sure they would still make a profit even if they let us use the coupons on more items.

@Kachina624 - That's what I said.  It appears only "sale price" qualifies for a price adjustment.

No telling, however, when they may stop that, too.  That's why I said "may".

QVC is changing things all the time now and not for the benefit of its customers.  JMHO.  Others are free to disagree.

@Venezia.  Your wording indicated a Sale Price item MAY qualify for an adjustment.   I wanted to clarify that all of my requests have been honored.
