I agree that their house brands have suffered, too. Dialogue, Motto and Sport Savvy were lines I would occasionally buy, but they are a thing of the past, too.

Let's hope things will move in a better direction now.

All those designers mentioned were the ones I liked and purchased clothing from. Now it is just Linea, occasionally George Simonton. It was only because of the huge protest mounted here to keep Linea that we still have some great fashions.

Good Riddance! The QVC that I used to order from regularly has ceased to exist.Just a 3 ring circus most of the time!

If what you are saying is true about her being the reason so many lines have been discontinued then I say GREAT that she is gone...it would be nice to see some of the older lines brought back to life...variety is the spice of life.

Hey QVC, just because someone is a celebrity doesn't mean they are a designer!!!!! Quit letting celebrities bring their over priced fashions to us!

Re: Claire Watts QVC US president resigns

Maybe things will change now. I quit watching so much due to several reasons. I am tired of seeing the same products over and over again. Also, why do they need the vendors on there if they have hosts? It used to be just the host presenting the product. Now the host and the vendor talk over each other and you can't understand them or the vendor has an annoying voice. They could just have the vendors come in and talk about their products and not have to hire hosts. It also annoys me when the hosts take food samples and the weird expressions on their face and they talk with food in their mouth. Also leave the modeling to the models please! QVC really needs to go back to where they were several years ago.

Re: Claire Watts QVC US president resigns

Here is an interesting recent quote from Mindy Grossman, CEO of HSN. MG: One of the things that we said early on is if we're going to have credibility in this idea of editorial program commerce, we need every one of the individuals that come to HSN, they have to have a great product, a great story and be a great storyteller. It's about the story, so if you look at our recent 100 Foot Journey or Maleficent with our Disney partnership, those are things that can transport people they can feel they're part of that journey and then they can be inspired to want the product, and that's what we're trying to do." I believe this approach would be very helpful to QVC. Find interesting products from around the world and present them in fun and educational ways. I'm for more interesting items around the world. prefer more global chic, handmade or at least not mass produce items. That's why I mostly shop online or in person at smaller boutiques and arts & crafts offerings.

Nobody wants QVC to return to the 90s. I think it might be nice if they positioned themselves as a player in the 21st century! {#emotions_dlg.lol}
