I just picked up those tortoise earrings, too. $10. Amazing. Great earrings for summer. How do you find the "limited quantities" items?

i am not sure how to do it on the qvc website other than by having an item in your wishlist and waiting for it to get marked down to LQ. however, there is a very nice poster who started a facebook page called qcuts that i check out every few days. she posts all the bargains that she can find. i have no idea how she does it though.

i have noticed that sometimes these items do end up as lunchtime specials also, although they are almost always cheaper at the LQ price.

Thanks, sunshine! I'll be checking the qcuts. Didn't even know that existed until now. Appreciate the tip.

Are the chubby hoops the same ones listed as bold hoops? I wish they would put the jewelry on a head manikin since they don't show them on air. I'd like to get an idea of the scale.

Yes, look at the List for March thread for descriptions. and I agree, there should be a manikin showing the scale of the earrings.

Mine have already arrived! I got the gold- and the silver-tone and am very happy with them. Yes, they are the "chubby hoops". Not too heavy or too bold at all for me. And I have rather fine features. I wanted an earring with presence, and these have it. I would have preferred an omega back with a post for pierced ears, as I particularly like that backing. These are like omega backs but without the post. Not at all noticeable for me with my chin length hair.

Mine arrived yesterday. Wearing the gold ones today. Been on my ears since 4:30 am and it is 2:30pm now, still not pinchy pain.

Love them...they show up and are simple and not too large.

Yes! And I love the narrow, raised edge, which doesn't show up in the pics. They are very classic and a very nice accent. Face framing.

I would like to have these in the gunmetal but I have very short hair and earrings have to look good from all angles. These would not look good from the back or side on me so I will continue my search for gunmetal hoops.
