I happened upon an article about this dress this morning. It has a cult following, the dress is made in very limited quantities in different colors and patterns then apparently never made again. You have to follow them on Instagram or sign up on their web site to find out when it's available. $202. 

They are made in Los Angeles by seamstresses who are all paid a fair wage and have good working conditions. Made from deadstock fabrics, leftover fabrics from other design houses. Christy Dawn site has all the info regarding how that helps the environment. Their site is very interesting, has all the details about the craftsmanship.

When you buy a dress it's actually shipped to you in a cedar box with a sprig of lavender. Christy Dawn is the head designer and designs dresses she wants to wear.

I like the length and the sleeve and how feminine it is. The only thing I don't like is how low the neckline is.

What a wonderful concept behind this company.  And hurray -- made in the USA!!!

@RedRedHair I agree, I would love to support that. In the end I'd much rather pay $200 for a dress like this than have so many cheaper dresses. And dresses not made in the US, under who knows what conditions. 

I had never heard of this company before today.
