Chest Measurement guide on TV screen

Watching Joan Rivers...The measurements on screen ... different from QVC sizing chart ... are they the garment's Chest Measurement, or is it my body measurement? They vary so much from item to item.

Use the click here measurements for the specific garment.  Garments for different items from the same vendor have different measurements, that's why I lookup each item.  You can't lookup one and just buy that size every time or you will end up with returns.

But what is the measurement ... garment or body?

QVC lists the garments measurements.  You take your measurements and look for the garment measurements that are a couple inches more.

QVC uses two charts,  one is body measurements with suggested sizes.   The other,  the one you see when they're showing an item,  is the garment measurement.   You can also find them by going to the item description.   At the end of the text are the words,  "click here".   You'll get full garment measurements there.

@KLevineFan

 I never use the QVC sizing.   Below the garment's description it says "for specific measurements for this garment click here".  The measurements there are of that specific garment, find your measurements then add an inch or two or more depending on how you want the item to fit.  Say you want to wear big bulky sweaters under a fitted jacket you're buying get it a few inches or more bigger, if you are only going to wear a skinnytee under jacket get it the measurements of garment or next size up, etc....you'll figure out what works for you it sounds more complicated than it is. This is the reason many women complain about sizing being off because each specific item is made differently even though it's from same designer and they buy same size for that designer for all of that designers clothes and then complain or use QVC sizing which is worthless.  I look up each item's sizing info before I buy and haven't returned an item due to sizing since. Hope that helped and I didn't confuse you more!

Re: Chest Measurement guide on TV screen

I always look at the Clich Here measurements for the actual garment measurements.

I took my body measurements so I can figure out easily which size to order.
