This a fashion forum, and this is a shopping channel. To critique fashion choices is as old as time. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But I do firmly believe that to attach someone’s choice in mere clothing to their character, morality, psychological or emotional state is highly unfair and even illogical. None of us know her personally.
If an article of clothing is not to one’s liking (I loathe those jeans she’s wearing) - fine. I leave my critique strictly to the jeans; that was always my intention, unapologetically.

To me, this says "trying too hard".

@Jtdmum wrote:@ILTH Thank you! I'm not aware that any of us enjoy how others critique us. Some of the comments made about her look are downright mean.
She gets to wear what she wants when she wants to and if people don't like it - don't look.
As far as it's creating world issues, maybe those who think that way should live their own lives and leave others alone. None of their business.
My opinon, that's what's creating the problems in todays world. Stop trying to tell others how to live their lives- MYOB!
@Jtdmum If everybody had the same opinions, we would be a boring world after all and we might not wear clothes. There is nothing wrong with anyone thinking this is not an attractive look and she needs an intervention. I love her music but lately she has done some very bizarre things and her fashion sense is not very fashionwise. Does that make me mean? No, it makes me have common sense.

@Bird mama I love her. I think she's doing this just to prove a point. She can do what she wants when she wants to. Why should anyone care?
Good for her!! She has provided endless hours of just beautiful music. I hope she laughs and enjoys every second !
so her status in life and all the million she;s made are license to look like a fool?
Ok then,
she hit the mark. Sad part is when these people g around wearing things like this, normal everyday people will think it;s okay to dress like that. Let's be honest, If you walked into Walmart, or your kid's school looking like that, you'd be on the internet too. But the caption with your picture would be "is she nuts?"

To me, it does not matter who the heck you are, that style is just plain stupid.

I have no idea what is going on with her physically or mentally. But, she looks terrible. I do not believe that grief factors in to her style choices.

I don't give a rip how she dresses. She has the voice of an angel. Her songs still give me chills.
I don't get putting up photos of celebs to rip them to shreds. Yes, I know it's a fashion forum, but it's still wrong.

Haha! Seriously? I don't think she'll need any help finding a man, if that is even what she wants. There is also nothing wrong with dressing to get attention. Why should everyone try and fit in? There is nothing offensive or obscene here. Let people express themselves! It's creative and fun, and not really anyone else's business! People should wear what makes them feel good. There are much bigger issues in life.
