There was a reporter on the CBS morning show today doing a story on the eclipse. She was wearing a top or dress, couldn't tell, with planets etc on it. She said she already owned it when Gayle King said she had the perfect outfit. I can't find a picture but it looked pretty.

You can find some very expensive designer items, I wonder if the eclipse will inspire stores to carry some inexpensive items.

I had a similar thought, but it was more about jewelry. I know that there were many people selling all kinds of merchandise leading up to the eclipse, but I do feel that QVC and others missed the boat a bit. Celestial clothing, jewelry, etc. would have been fun to watch and potentially order!

I've been searching for about six months now for a 14kt gold sun pendant for my daughter. I've found several, but none look like what I picture in my mind. They have a lot of angry looking sun pendants out there lol

@catchersmom Have you tried Etsy for a sun pendant? Do you want one with the face-the eyes and mouth? I assume so, since you said they look ticked off. I don't like that either.

@Greeneyedlady21 I have but not recently, need to go that route again.

And I would prefer one with a pleasant type face, but would even be ok with no face if it was the right design. I am generally not a picky person, but this particular piece of jewelry would have significant meaning so I want it to match the idea in my mind (if that makes sense).
