The gown is satin with a pleated Chantilly lace overlay. Over the top of that is an iridescent "film" in the front portion. This reflected the flash bulbs and made the dress appear to change colors throughout the step and repeat. Whether you like the dress or not, that's pretty ingenious.

Exactly. Not that she needs it but that's so flattering to her figure. I'd love to see affordable tops and dresses that used that same concept. I have a few colorblock dresses that use the black in a flattering way. But not exactly like this gown.

It fits her like a glove.  She looks fabulous in it.  I like the style.  I'm not sure about the color, but I guess that will change!!
