It was made for her by John Galliano for Maison Margiela. She wore it at the Rome Film Festival.
The gown is satin with a pleated Chantilly lace overlay. Over the top of that is an iridescent "film" in the front portion. This reflected the flash bulbs and made the dress appear to change colors throughout the step and repeat. Whether you like the dress or not, that's pretty ingenious.
