“Carrying 20 Pounds of Boobs Around”

❤️Saying this with love - but why are Shawn and the sales person from the Evelyn & Bobby bra line yelling about “carrying 20 pounds of boob around”? These are not boobs - they are breasts. Carrying 20 pounds around? Is this scientific? The bra sold out so clearly no one seemed to mind but it’s so juvenile to be describing a bra and our breasts this way. Very off putting and tacky. Rant over - have a great weekend, all☺️☺️☺️☺️

@Beautybella88 I agree. What is wrong with saying breasts? That's what they are.

What about "the girls" which I often hear in the bra presentations?

@Beautybella88 Maybe I'm from a different generation? I say "boobs" far more often than breast. Doesn't bother me at all they use that term. I have to admit, I don't sit and "watch" QVC, it's only on in the background as I do other things, so I'm not paying a whole lot of attention. But, I never gave it a second thought when I heard it.

@Beautybella88   Rants are acceptable. I think "boobs" is the least annoying, juvenile things said by hosts. "Breasts" may be off limits by the PTB.

I don't see why they can't say - breasts.  I mean, you are talking about bras and bras are  all about the support and covering of the breasts.  A common, every day need of women!

NO - I hate this term used fo denote the female breasts. These are not my girls. My girls are my female friends, women I hang with.

@Icegoddess   Renee Greenstein uses this term all the time, she thinks it's okay, maybe even cute or funny. Of course it goes right along with all her wiggling and jiggling on tv and she shames all of the models and host she may work with to distastefully pulling up

their shirts to show them and taunting them to wiggle their rear ends on tv. I am not okay with that. She thinks again, it's cute or funny. It's a turn-off for me.

So NO to the "girls" and the wiggling.

🤷🏼‍♀️ Why can't we just say "on top"?
