I am watching the Carole Hochman show. It is sad how the line has gone down the drain since Carole Hochman is no longer associated with this line. The material and designs have changed. After looking at the line up, I will not be purchasing from this line. She always had such cute designs not so much now. Another line that has gone from good to bad!! I heard the rep say they are designed for the Q. The retail market has different designs and material.

I agree with you also! I only wear 100 percent cottom gowns and they are not offering them anymore. I am a 25 year QVC shopper and I will have to go to other websites now to find them. So dissappointing!

I used buy her sets from QVC, then Costco started selling sets at a more reasonable price but the quality has gone down and I haven't bought anything from her line from the Q or Costco in a few years and my other sets are starting to need replaced. Guess I have to start looking around again, darn!!!!

I was just trying to shop for some Carol Hochman night gowns for mom and the sizing is now all over the place. I ordered one item A-286834 in a medium (chest size 39.5 and it was too small so I have to ship it back and get one larger. I looked at item A-279500 (chest size 42.5) in a medium and it shows a different measurement. WHY cant these sizing be the same for the same size but in different garments? It drives you crazy. You should be able to go to any garment and if you know what size you are you should be able to get that same size everywhere. Well, it used to be that way when there were actually standards in sizing. Shipping stuff back and forth is no bargain!
QVC should be able to reign these companies in and demand excellence in this matter for us, the paying customers.

It's terrible. Since Carole Hochman is just a brand name being used by the new owner, who knows how the manufacturing is set up for the various retail partners. We know they have a team that creates styles exclusively for QVC, but what I've seen elsewhere in this brand is also not the same (quality or cuteness) as when Ms. Hochman was in charge.

Qvc please address the lack of quality. Do you realize? This is one example of many people who are not shopping with Qvc. Speaking of examples! Breezies another line lacking quality! Found Bali on Amazon incredible price and more importantly! Consistent sizing.

@faygi just a suggestion....if you'd like cotton gowns, try Vermont County Store dot com
I've had some good success there now that the Q's Hochman offerings are not what they used to be.

I agree with you that if a person wears a medium in one style she should be able to wear a medium in another style, for the most part. But the measurements you're looking at for the sleepwear you've referenced above are garment measurements. One wouldn't expect a big shirt to have the same chest measurement as a fitted blouse, and the items you've listed are very different. Yes, they're both sleepshirts, but one is listed as a relaxed fit in 100% cotton, and the other is rayon/spandex and semi-fitted. So, it makes sense to me that the chest measurements are different and that the fit would be different.
I don't own any Carole Hochman sleepwear from QVC, but I often think that the little sets offered are cute. I'm not speaking to quality or fit. I really dislike the version sold lately at Costco -- the fabric and styling are not appealing to me at all -- and I noticed that there is a similar style now being offered on QVC (modal/spandex with satiny trim).

I purchased some very lightweight pj's this year and last and they are good for the summer. But I agree quality is not the same. Vermont Country Store does carry Lanz, Eileen West and others. Lanz are lovely and moderately priced, Eileen West, are gorgeous but pricey - my hubby has given me some from local store over the years. If you want good quality and willing to pay the prices, these brands are lovely.

I bought a couple pairs of CH for my mother and she loves them, but that was a while ago and I purchased on clearance. I personally just can't justify the price for PJ's. I find good designer PJ's in Ross, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Macys ...
