I paid around $40+ for a CH long nightgown that I loved. One big problem that I've seen others mention is that she uses a "tie" at the top (around the neckline) to tighten it. After about a year the tie or string broke. I thought I could somehow fix it, but there was no way. I didn't mind spending that much for something that was so comfortable, but the fact that a little string broke off and left it unusable was not good. I won't buy another nightgown from her line that has the tie/string around the neckline. I'm not a member of Costco, so that's not an option for me. It's just a poor design in my opinion for a really nice nightgown.

@jannabelle1  I have two of her nightgowns without any ties.  Just V-necklines. Both are quite pretty and have held up very well - comfortable too.  Those are summer nightgowns.

I have one pair of CH pjs that I bought several years ago as a lunch time special. The price was great and I still have them and wear them. They are super soft, but I would never spend the prices the Q is asking. I usually get my pjs at Kohl's or Macy's for $25 or less.

I buy my PJ's at Kohls too! They are soft, comfortable and wear like iron....

No way would I pay $50+ for pjs, nor would I pay to shop at Costco, although there's one near me.

I agree with you about not paying $50 for PJS.

I wonder, though if you've ever been to a Costco.  The yearly membership fee is a drop in the bucket compared to what you can save.  The Kirkland products are outstanding.  I would suggest that before you say say never to shopping there, go inside one and take a look at the products they offer.  You like the bargains at Zulily.  I think you would be impressed with what Costco has to offer--and they gladly accept returns.

I live in CH pjs and lounge wear and bought most of them from the Q.  I wash and wear these clothes weekly. The clothes are all still in decent shape after a few years of wash and wear. I have bought her line cheaper and on sale elsewhere, but found they were not constructed as well and did not last.

They're called "Midnight by Carole Hochman" and are a made-for-Costco style. These are 95% modal/5% spandex, and I found them very thin with not much body to the fabric. I think much of what CH has on the Q is made of more substantial fabrics.

Carol's Midnight collection is sold elsewhere other than Costco.  I've seen Midnight items at Bloomingdale's and Soma.  It's an expensive collection too.  A short chemise gown is more than $50 when not on sale. One of the gowns on the QVC this morning was a Midnight.

I have many of her pj's.  I love them.  Never had any trouble with them.

I don't like thin, cheap clothes.  I find her pj's from QVC to be wonderful.

I wear them around the house every day.  In fact I have the new bottoms on now that I just bought from the Q.

I don't know anything about the clothes offered in Costco.  I do know I've bought some there and had to bring them back.

I know I'm going to take heat for this but I think often they seem like seconds.

I once bought a package of their underwear.  I loved them!  I went back and bought several packages.  They were all the same designs, same sizes but guess what?  Some fit and some didn't.  Even in the same package.  I took all of them back.  What a mess they were.

My daughter likes their cotton bikini underwear and the workout bras.  She doesn't have a problem with them.  I think it's like throwing balls up in the air.  Some will bounce and some won't.

I bought 2 sets from QVC...both have the matching t shirts and a cardigan like top. I paid with shipping about $60 each. They washed well and are very pretty. The quality of the fabric, stitching and design was just as nice as the sets I have bought in Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. I did buy pj's from Carol Hochman at Amazon and they shrank for less $. I firmly believe you get what you pay for..

I saw that gown on this morning's show (noticed they didn't model it!), but I would bet anything that the style is made for Costco. Anyway, as I mentioned above, my main problem with them is that they're that modal/spandex blend that I find too thin and clingy (that is, I don't like it). I prefer something more substantial, but I'm sure that some would find the fabric very comfy for sleeping.
