I don't really know what to make of this outfit.  I do think its visually very unique and interesting.  It's not a pretty outfit, but its not ugly either.

 

To me it looks like the print is a woman's pelvic bones leading into the nether regions.

 

I think I lean more toward admiring it than disliking it.  She wears it well I think.

I love van Herpen. Her dresses are works of art. 

The one delevigne is wearing is, I believe, a butterfly. 

 

She's at the L.A. premiere of her fantasy series  in which she plays a fairy. The dress is prefect for the occasion.
