This is a line I really like. It was so much fun at the beginning, with Tess and her enthusiasm. I loved the southwest colors they showed.

Then I noticed it was changed to a division of Denim and Co.

I hadn't seen anything for a while, so I looked it up. Uh-oh - I noticed there was nothing new and a lot of final sales.

I imagine in the fashion world sometimes timing is key. The show Yellowstone was popular. OK. I thought it would have been great to tie the pieces in with Carolyn Pollack's American West jewelry. Then Carolyn retired. This style of jewelry was popular.

It still is. Kendra Scott jewelry, based in Austin, Texas came out with a collection called "Yellow Rose." It's nothing like Carolyn's former designs, but it's popular with millennials in particular. She has just opened two stores that carry Yellow Rose only.

I have quite a few Canyon Retreat items, including two sweaters I live in. I guess just a few of us liked this line and it didn't sell well. I am lucky to have the pieces I do!  Smiley Sad

I believe it's an "old fashioned" concept, dating back to the 1960's.  There are NO (zero) "dude ranches" down here.

Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the U.S. and now caters to golfers because of our moderate winter climate.    There are also numerous "casino" resorts.

Yes, there is still a "nod" to the Southwest -- jewelry and accessories -- but NOT head-to-toe "western" attire.

I never bought any canyon retreat clothing but I do like southwest jewelry. I have a few pieces and sometimes wear it with the casual clothing most of us wear now. I love the colors. I think it's a regional thing tho. I live in the northeast, so I don't see it here. I have a cute turtle bracelet and pin I wear in the summertime. I am surprised it isn't more popular. It goes with so many things. I have an amber piece from years ago. Remember those shows? I like the natural look of it.

@beach-mom.  I liked the line too and am sorry it wasn’t more successful.  It was treated like a D&C step-child.   I have quite a few pieces and many others similar that aren't Canyon Retreat.   That's how I normally dress. I have a nice collection of Indian-made turquoise jewelry to wear with it.

I keep asking myself this:

Is Tess the same person as the D&Co. representative?

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I liked the Canyon Retreat line, too and have several pieces.   It's too bad they didn't promote it more.  Tired of all the french terry and the shapeless big prints.  And  I never got the appeal of the beach pants.

When QVC introduced Canyon Retreat it was a label underneath the Denim and Company brand. The first TSV for Canyon Retreat was at a ranch with Gary and Tess. The TSV was jeans. Then QVC moved Canyon Retreat from Denim and Company. Tess was the Canyon Retreat representative , she looks very much like the woman who is the Denim and Company representative. Tess left as the Canyon Retreat representative, she might be a social media influencer. After Tess left QVC placed Canyon Retreat back under Denim and Company.

@Pyrite2616 - The sad face emoji is because I'm sad the line seems to be discontinued.
