Has anyone figured out why so many fashion shows have been cancelled?

Bad weather? Flights cancelled.

I heard on the news the other day that people aren't buying clothes - they're buying big ticket items.  Or, it could be because the Q's clothing prices have gotten out of hand and people just don't want to spend that much.

It happens every year from October through Christmas.  They change their format to include gifts and limit their fashion programming.

IS that strike that was affecting that huge cargo shipping line that carries so many of the items made in the Far East to the US still going on?  IF that strike is still continuing then there is a real problem getting the QVC clothes made in China, Thailand, Vietnam Nam etc to the US

The items sold out because so many people shop Qvc.com.  My friends and I all check out the new stuff daily and often when something shows up on a tv presentation; we saw it two weeks ago on .com and it's in our closet already.  If something is low in quantity, Qvc can't show it on tv.

The strike has long since been over but the Korean Shipping Company went bankrupt. A lot of Vendors were left stranded.

Wendy Williams had a nice show on HSN today and this evening.  Evine had fashion shows a few days ago.
