I have D&Co show on while I'm online ... and just wondering.   Every clearance item is because they can't get anymore.  Sounds odd.

How come they "can't get anymore"?   The manufacturer won't make anymore?    The manufacturer decides he no longer wants QVC's business?  There are no other newer startups that would love the business?

Sometimes - they say this was a very popular item but they can't get anymore .... why not find another manufacturer to make the "very popular "item.

I have my own conclusions ...

I think that the same/very similar style with reappear with a different item number and a higher price.  They will then call it NEW

Usually it means they can't restock it for the price they have it listed for and when this happens, the item(s) they have remaining go on clearance.

You're probably right.  I don't watch QVC all that much to notice that.

Simply 'we're not reordering' or 'we're not bringing it back' would suffice.

'Can't get any more' is disingenuous in reference to their own label...
