I attended three New York City Fashion Week events last week, and I could not help but notice just how many people were wearing tailored camouflage coordinates. There were camo dresses, camo skirts, camo shirts, camo jackets, camo shorts (both long and short), camo belts, and camo shoes (heels, ballet flats, boots, trainers, and sandals). The print, most especially the woodland pattern, was being worn as a neutral; very similar to how animal print is worn.
It seems as if every store is selling a clothing item or an accessory in the Fall 2013 print. While I do not care for all renditions of the pattern, I do think some are quite striking, and on trend. Further, this time around, the trend is decidedly less grungy and more refined.
Will you be embracing the look?
