I wear them all Winter long here in CO. I have a pair that are pink/black plaid and I love them. I wear a size nine and ordered a nine and the fit perfectly with thick socks.

Thanks for the info. I haven't seen the plaid/pink. I hope the 8.5 isn't too big, but the reviews say they run small.

Thanks , lola, for the pic. Thanks, too, Santorini.Smile

I would hope these have a zipper somewhere or most people would go crazy trying to get them on/off - closer examination of the pic makes me think there's a back zip. I don't have these, but I have a pair of Sorel's from 5 years ago (they still look new!) that are a shorter plaid version (red/black plaid) and those have furry interior, but I still wore my normal size 9M. Hope that helps. I think the boots you picked are super cute, btw. I love that military-like coloration.

I don't know if they have a zipper or not. My hunter boots don't have a zipper, and they aren't hard to get on or off.Smile

win, I love those boots! I could never get my high-arched feet in a boot that tall without a zipper. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Sometimes I don't think people get that those of us who live in "real" winter climates have to dress a bit utilitarian just to remain on our feet! LOL Because of that, I have embraced the look and make it my own!

LOL Hi Magic! I actually have a bit of a high arch, and my Hunter don't have a zipper. I haven't had any issues getting them on. Have you tried Hunter boots? As far as "utilitarian", I find these utilitarian but so on trend and in style, LOL.

Anyway, I hope they fit when I get them. I went back and forth on sizing. They are on backorder and have to wait 3 weeks. That shale color was sold out on all the other sites I checked in most sizes. Have a great day! It's raining here AGAIN Magic and I'm so over it.{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

I wear Sorel snow boots all winter. I wear an 8 & order true to size. I usually buy them when they are on clearance for the season on Cabela's.

I think that, in general, people often forget that others posting here live varied lifestyles in different parts of the country.

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}Those are nice boots Win. You could do a very cute snow bunny outfit with those! I like that Shale shaft color, what is that, taupe? Gray? I like it, it's unusual. I am so tired of the usual black and brown in boot colors. I have no need for a boot like that, so I have never purchased anything like that, but those look warm and like they would definitely keep your feet dry. They definitely look like a serious snow boot. I think you would get a lot of wear out of those and they should last you for many winters.

Regarding sizing information from Nordies site (with any brand), I've found that to be accurate so if they say to size up or down, heed that advice, it is usually right on the mark. hth.

Love this brand and they make cute winter boots that actually keep you warm! I always size up a 1/2 and am never sorry. Watch for RueLaLa and 6pm, as both have Sorel brand.

The cinnamon color was on clearance for 115 at 6pm. I am not sure about sizing since I didnt dig deep but..... Not sure about that color but the picture might not do it justice.

I like these boots. They are very nice and considering they are for the cold weather, they would be utilitarian. I would of considered them if they were not up to the knee.
