If the average Cuban salary is $25 a month, how many years would it take to buy one of those dresses?

If a Cuban woman wanted  a dress like that, she'd buy some fabric and either make it herself or have someone else make it for her.  Cubans have a bustling barter economy.  One woman does hair in her own home, another is dressmaker, another is a manicurist.  The auto mechanics keep cars running and trade services with the carpenter who builds furniture.  To answer the question, the average Cuban woman isn't interested in $300 polyester dresses, those are for us.

Pretty dresses, but most of the prints are too bold for me. A few have hems that are not right for me and my style.  Thanks for posting.  I always enjoy looking at your pics.
